My favorite view of the West Maui MountainsHere are some pictures from our recent visit to Maui. It was such beautiful weather while we were there. The photos of whales are from 2 separate whale watches we went on.
When I look at these pictures, I can only think to myself "Maui no ka oi" (and "I'm in Japan instead of Maui because.... why is that again?").

The firetrucks in Maui are yellow.
It looks like the moon, but it's really the top of Haleakala (as seen from the visitor center at the summit of the crater).
Hawaii's natural beauty is truly unsurpassed...I wish I could get there more often!
